There are various types of automotive oil pipe joints, and commonly used pipe joints can be divided into two types: hard pipe joints and hose joints. If classified according to the connection method of pipe joints and pipelines, there are three types of hard pipe joints: flared type, sleeve type, and welded type, while hose joints are mainly compression type rubber pipe joints.
The connection method between pipelines and pipe joints in hydraulic systems also varies, and the threaded end of the pipeline is used for connection. Conical threads are mainly used in medium and low pressure hydraulic systems, relying on their own vertebral bodies for tightening and sealing operations using materials such as polytetrafluoroethylene.
The sealing effect of fine thread is very good and is often used in high-pressure systems. However, it requires the use of combination washers or O-rings to seal the end face, and sometimes copper washers are also used. It is more suitable for connecting pipelines with thick pipe walls, and its components mainly include joint bodies, nozzles, and nuts.
When using, insert the joint body into the target and use the gasket mentioned earlier to seal the end face. Rubber is used to seal the joint body and the connecting pipe, and sometimes spherical sealing is also used.
